Tore Rynning-Nielsen

Tore Rynning-Nielsen co-founded Herkules Private Equity Fund in 2003.

Mr. Rynning-Nielsen has more than 30 years of international corporate finance experience, as a principal, advisor and investor. In 1999 he founded the private education company B+W Learning Systems AS acquiring Bjørknes, Treider, Westerdals and other schools. Mr. Rynning-Nielsen has also held positions as managing director of Enskilda Securities’ Norwegian operations and as senior vice president and treasurer of the LBO firm Holberg Industries Inc. in Greenwich. From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Rynning-Nielsen worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in New York, responsible for origination of fixed income instruments for clients in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Rynning-Nielsen is a member of the Board of Overseers at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, chairman of the board of Fountain House Norge and Clubhouse International in New York.

Mr. Rynning-Nielsen holds a BBA magna cum laude degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
