This is a great day for Aibel, and everyone working in the company. The agreement is one of the largest for maintenance and modification work on the Norwegian Continental Shelf,’ says President and CEO in Aibel AS, Jan Skogseth.
Solid experience at Ekofisk
Aibel has had a frame agreement for maintenance and modification work, Greater Ekofisk Modifications (GEM), for ConocoPhillips since 2002.
Approximately 800 employees are currently engaged in the contract, and every year 200 modification projects of varying size are carried out at the installations.
Skogseth says that Aibel shows fantastic HSE results at Ekofisk.
`We have six years without any lost time injuries, and three years without injuries that have resulted in medical treatment,’ says Skogseth.
