Herkules Private Equity Fund I sells Carpe Diem Beds of Sweden AB

(Oslo, 13 August 2013) Herkules Private Equity Fund I has sold the mattress company Carpe Diem Beds of Sweden AB to Hilding Anders International AB, a leading European provider of bedding systems. Carpe Diem Beds of Sweden AB is a subsidiary of European House of Beds AS, a Herkules Private Equity Fund I portfolio company.

Herkules has owned Carpe Diem since 2006. The company has 50 employees and is located in Lysekil, Sweden. Through Herkules’ ownership Carpe Diem has strengthened its position as a leading premium brand and built strong customer relations in the Nordic market. For 2012 net sales were SEK 134 million.
