PTC appoints Rolf Egil Håland as new Chief Executive Officer

(Stavanger, 22 November 2013) Petroleum Technology Company (PTC) today announced that it has appointed Rolf Egil Håland as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective February 1st 2014. The appointment of Mr. Håland, a highly experienced and successful oil service executive, is an important step in ensuring that PTC has the organizational platform to continue its strong growth trajectory going forward whilst serving its existing and new customers in the best possible way.

Most recently, Håland was responsible for Oil Tools division in Archer. Having been very successful in growing profits and organizations of oil service technology divisions across geographical regions for companies such as Schlumberger and Archer (Seawell) over the last 17 years, Håland has extensive experience in managing and building global oil service organizations whilst securing profitable growth.
